WEB DESIGN: FOR WHEN I WANT TO FEEL SMART AND WRITE A LOT OF CODE

I hand code all sites that I work on, and make simple use of javascript, jquery, and xhtml. My goal is to always make a website as simple as possible while still being attractive and contemporary. Each website has to work towards the goal of the client, whether it is to inform a visitor or attract attention to an event. Please take a look at these three working examples of recent websites and see for yourself.

Capshaw.org before I was given the opportunity to take over design and maintenance was a information disaster. I believe I once counted over 50+ pages of information, some of which only contained two lines of useless text. After meeting with the staff at Capshaw Baptist Church and working closely with the Senior Pastor, I came up with this simplified version of Capshaw.org. It offers weekly updated downloads and video announcements, sermon audio (and soon to be video), as well as all information on upcoming events. All the information that a visitor would need is accessible in a matter of seconds, rather than minutes.

EasterAtCapshaw.com was a quick, one page promotional site for a weekend of events we had at Capshaw Baptist. It was promoted using business cards with the web address on them and was quickly spread around the community.

I was hired by Joshua's parents to create an online resumé basically. They needed a site with all of his stats, training schedule, videos, and much more information available to send to schools and scouts. The site was a huge success and recieved a lot of great attention and helped land Joshua at the University of Louisville in 2012 as their starting punter.
